Every year teachers around the world spend hours and hours setting up their Canvas courses. Sometimes that can be made easier by importing last year's content, but it can be tricky to get everything linked and set up just right.
Have no fear! This year you can save yourself time and start with a prebuilt, already set up, beautiful Canvas Template. All you need to do is add your own content!
Beautiful Custom Graphics
This template is in our Watercolor theme. Stunning buttons, headers, and more all match the artistic flow of watercolor paints.
Set Up For Success
There are lots of different ways to organize your Canvas content. This template is designed chronologically, organized by month and by week. It's easy to see, and more importantly, is easy to use.
Homepage
Start from the homepage, with customizable start buttons. Everything is already linked, set up, and ready to go.
Month Pages
Students scroll down just a tad on the homepage and select the month they are currently in.
They then go to the month's calendar.
Parents and families LOVE the calendar because it helps them keep track of what their student is doing and when.
Some teachers add due dates or special events to their monthly page. I don't usually add due dates, but I do like a good special event. Our matching watercolor events set or watercolor holiday set are great ways to spice that up with minimal effort.
Weekly Pages
I know many teachers prefer to organize their content by unit. I totally get that! But I taught ELA, so sometimes one unit blended into another. I prefer the weekly layout. It allows space for you to list or link any resources that will be used all week, including vocabulary (I always link the root words so the families know what students need to study), openers, etc.
Did you see the icons and the placeholders for differentiation? I like having the daily reminder to incorporate differentiation wherever I can. If it doesn't fit your teaching style, delete it!
Getting Started
Every day for the entire school year is already set up and linked. All you have to do is import the package into your Canvas. Getting started directions come with every purchase!
If you get stuck, each purchase comes with a discount code to book a help session with the instructional design side of the business, EQubed LLC.
Next Steps
Right now is a great time to purchase your Canvas template!
